Collin Dees, PA
Scientific Advisor & Client Relations Manager
Collin has been a health nut for as long as he can remember. His fascination started at a young age, while he experimented with different nutritional protocols to optimize his athletic endeavors. After his NCAA wrestling career ended, he began the graduate portion of the Physician Assistant program at Seton Hill University. After 27 grueling months of didactic education and clinical rotations, he was now questioning if he made the correct choice in his profession. All of the nutritional and alternative health knowledge that he gained in his free time was not applicable to the clinical setting as a PA. Nevertheless, he began his medical journey with 2 and a half years spent in a Surgical setting, spending most of his time with sick inpatient care. This exposure, although important, was not what he felt called to do. Along the way he experienced his own health issues that the conventional medical model could not solve, so he was forced to dive deeper into his self-education. In the past 2 years, he has transitioned to a more Functional approach working as a PA in a health optimization clinic focused on preventing disease and aging processes. He now blends his work with his passions and continues to do independent research in his free time, often sharing this on his Twitter profile. Collin blends his own personal health struggles with his conventional medical training as well as experience in a more holistic setting. This gives him unique insights to offer to a wide range of diagnoses and clinical presentations.
